"Connecting through experience, community and country."
Small, local business — we think small is beautiful. Being a small business helps us keep our vision focused. Being local helps us maintain strong knowledge of the landscape and strong connections with the community.
Locally owned and operated — established in 1998 Trek Larapinta has pioneered small group trekking tours on the Larapinta Trail. These are the places we know and love. We are dedicated to quality, interpretive tours on the Larapinta Trail and in Central Australia.
Small group sizes — we find this leads to more personalised service and less environmental impact.
Our style of walking — is not to rush from A to B but to take time to enjoy the scenery, observe the plants, keep watch for wildlife and look out for each other.
Sustainable travel — we currently employ many strategies to maintain minimal impact travel, both socially and environmentally. We're always seeking new ways to implement sustainability.
Arrernte people — Trek Larapinta wishes to acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Central and Western Arrernte Country for allowing us the opportunity to share this magnificent place - the Larapinta Trail/Western MacDonnell region. Learn more about the Arrernte people here.
Friends of the Larapinta Trail — Trek Larapinta helps to support The Friends of the Larapinta Trail via our volunteer programs each year. We donate effort, energy and money to help maintain this most precious asset. Learn more about the The Friends of the Larapinta Trail here.
