About this Aboriginal Cultural Tour »
Ada Lechleitner is your tour host and an Indigenous Custodian of the country you will visit: a remote Aboriginal Outstation of Town Bore, here in Central Australia. Her tour is about people from different cultures spending time with one another and connecting through a variety of shared experiences.
Spending time at Town Bore includes being part of the daily life that happens out there, learning some skills and listening to stories from this ancient culture.
You will sit down with Ada and join in dot painting workshops, clapstick carving and bead making as she shares of her Western Arrernte and Luritja heritage. There are also gardens, short walks and a strong and peaceful landscape to experience, as well as time talking and eating around the campfire and camping under the stars in tents and cosy swags.
'Come and spend some time with us where we live,' says Ada. 'Experience our culture, country and life.'

Town Bore have been working hard to develop independence for their outstation, here in remote Central Australia. Trek Larapinta would like to thank Ada and her family for allowing us to support this work, which provides connections between people of different cultures and a sustainable lifestyle for Indigenous people in this remote and special place.
We feel extremely honoured to have been working with you for the last two years. We've learned a lot from the relationship we've built and the time we've spent together.
We would also like to thank Central Land Council for providing valued support in this process.
